Make sure you do some of your shopping at the beach shops (Killer Dana) along the shore for truly unique souvenirs that celebrate your visit to the OC.
south coast plaza south coast plaza horses South Coast Plaza - Orange County's Rodeo Drive and truly the ultimate shopping experience. You will see tour groups from Asia mingling with families and surfers from the OC finding everything they could possibly dream of….at South Coast Plaza. Plan to spend some time and if the kids are along be sure to have lunch at the Rainforest Café after you ride the carousel. Located at 3333 Bristol St and the 405 it is also easy to access and parking is free. If you are in a hurry consider valet parking your car!

bloomingdales fashion island fashion island mall Fashion Island Mall - is simply amazing! It is located at Pacific Coast Highway and Newport Center Dr. and has hundreds of specialty stores and great restaurants. The kids will love the Italian Carousel. I love the flower vendor singing her wares! Fashion Island is spacious and beautifully located overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It is definitely worth stopping by and walking around if only for the view!

irvine spectrum improv irvine spectrum irvine spectrum wheel nordstrom orange county Irvine Spectrum Center -was recently voted the Number 1 Entertainment Venue in Orange County. They have wonderfully combined movies, restaurants, the Improv and a host of special engagements (we saw Circe du Soleil there) with amazing shopping and first class personal services. There are 4 valet stations and wheel chairs are provided upon request and plenty of parking is available. They have a giant (Ferris) wheel and a gorgeous outdoor carousel. Stop by the Magic Shop and watch the magicians perform…they take requests! The Spectrum is located where the 5 and 405 meet and at night you can see the 'well lit' obelisk for miles.

laguna hills mall macys Laguna Hills Mall - You can get off the freeway on El Toro, park easily and be back on your way in no time. Eat at the Cajun stand in the food court….omg…ask them to blend blackened and bourbon chicken in that salad with some extra sauce….you will never forget it!

The Block at Orange - is known for its fabulous outdoor dinning as well as its great shopping. OFF 5th, Saks Fifth Avenue outlet, Ann Taylor's and Old Navy outlet stores are located here. Located at 20 City Blvd. Way in Orange you will find many wonderful shops and major retail stores at the Block at Orange.

tustin marketplace The Tustin Market Place - has over 100 stores but is really spread out and you need to drive from one to another. It is conveniently located on the I5 at Jamboree. I call the store I am looking for and have them "talk me in". Do drive through In and Out for the best burgers, French fries and chocolate shakes in the entire world!

mission viejo mall The Shops of Mission Viejo - known as a showcase mall and featuring Nordstrom, Macys, Saks and Robinsons and hundreds of interesting unique small shops it is all under one roof. shops at mission viejo mall Exit the I5 on Crown Valley and you will see the mall up on the hill. The mall has a great food court but we love to eat at Ruby's when we are there during mealtime! saks fifth avenue

Brea Mall - is an upscale mall featuring Macys, Nordstrom, Robinson-May, JC Penny and Sears. Located in Brea just off the 57 freeway where Imperial Highway and State College Blvd. intersect. We love the Thomas Store and everyone loves to 'window shop' at Coach!

Main Place Mall - filled with fabulous stores and shops the Main Place Mall is located just off the I5 at Main Street near the Discovery and Bower Museums. Abercrombie and Eddie Bauer are great favorites of ours and who doesn't love to shop smelling Cinnabons. We always love to eat lunch at El Torito…it is dependably great food and lots of fun!

There are so many wonderful things to see and BUY. When you need a break, stop in at one of our many inviting restaurants, bistros, soda fountains or bars for some refreshments! You can also take a walk on the beach before heading home!.

There is always a new shop and great new things to enjoy as you walk around the village. I ALWAYS do it with a chocolate covered banana! hee hee! The end of summer sales are AMAZING - especially for beach wear type items!
